Customer service skills are essential for anyone in a customer-facing role. You need to be able to understand and accommodate customers’ needs, and you must be able to handle difficult situations calmly.
As a real estate agent, you will be liaising with clients on a daily basis to arrange property viewings and sales. You will also be dealing with banks, building societies, mortgage brokers, surveyors and solicitors on a regular basis during property transactions.
Negotiation
As a real estate agent, you will often be expected to negotiate with customers. You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service, which includes explaining the process of buying and selling property and providing accurate information about the market.
